National Soaring Museum
Built in 1978 and situated on Harris Hill the National Soaring Museum tells the story of America's aviation pioneers in motorless flight and houses the records for achievements in the sport of soaring. Walk the 8000 square foot hangar space and see the evolution of the sailplane from the daring days of cloth and wood gliders to sleek ships of today making it possible to fly with eagles. Next to the Harris Hill gliderport in season sailplane ride are available so you too can experience the beauty of this unique sport.
