Newtown Battlefield

Take in the view of the valley while learning about the Battle of Newtown, one of the most decisive offensive military actions of the Sullivan-Clinton Campaign. This expeditionary force was sent by General Washington to cut off British supplies and route loyalists and natives who sided with the monarchy through a scorched earth campaign across New York colonial breadbasket.
